“Anxious in Beirut”, a documentary directed by Zakaria Jaber and produced by Jumana Saadeh, has gained the award for Finest Documentary Movie on the Shanghai Worldwide Movie Competition. The documentary covers the three years of successive crises in Lebanon from 2019 until 2021 from the oppressed protests, the port explosion and the financial disaster repercussion.
“Anxious in Beirut” is a joint effort between Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, and Spain and was extremely praised for its excellent storytelling and thought-provoking content material.
