The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) will obtain $16 million in support from the UK between 2022 and 2025, in line with Lebanon’s British Ambassador Hamish Cowell.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by LAF Commander in Chief Common Joseph Aoun which, in line with Cowell, “demonstrates our dedication to persevering with our help to and cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces.”

The UK has proven its help for the Lebanese Military since 2008, to which it allotted roughly $100 million.

Simply yesterday, the European Union granted Lebanon $243.7 million {dollars} amidst the nation’s financial disaster.
