The Lebanese movie The Anger is continuous its profitable streak at many main movie festivals, scoring extra awards.
This time, The Anger gained the Cinema Critics Affiliation Award for “The Greatest Film” in addition to The Greatest Director of Images, granted to Tommaso Fiorilli, on the Worldwide Muslim Cinema Competition in Kazan, Tatarstan.
Final week, the movie gained the Greatest Worldwide Function Award on the Unbiased Lebanese Movie Competition (LIFF).
Directed by Maria Ivanova Z., and co-written by Olga Artemyeva, the movie stars Lebanese-French actress Manal Issa and revolves across the conflict between two completely different cultures throughout Lebanon’s post-war years.
Manal performs the position of younger Lebanese Ida, who runs away from her small city and her alcoholic mom, to move for the large metropolis the place she meets and dates a European man.
Additionally starred by Aurélien Chaussade, Houssam Sabbah, Julia Kassar, and Mohamad Akil, the movie displays on Ida’s tragic destiny by way of her experiences, rejection of faith, deception, betrayal, and restoration.
