Lebanese Rescue Groups Simply Returned To Lebanon After Serving to Turkey

The Lebanese search and rescue mission returns house after a 4-day effort in Turkey.

Caretaker Atmosphere Minister Nasser Yassin expressed gratitude to the 72-member workforce through Twitter:

“The Lebanese rescue mission from Turkey is on its strategy to Lebanon and arrives at 13:15 at Rafic Hariri Worldwide Airport after finishing up its search and rescue missions for 4 consecutive days in Marash governorate. Heartfelt due to the 72 workforce members who didn’t hesitate and have been within the affected space 12 hours after the catastrophe.”

The workforce’s effort was targeted on the Marash governorate, close to the epicenter of the earthquake.

Their arrival at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri Worldwide Airport at 1:15 pm native time was met with applause and appreciation.

Groups from the Lebanese Military Engineering Brigade, the Lebanese Purple Cross, the Lebanese Civil Protection, and the Beirut Fireplace Brigades went to Turkey and Syria to assist in search and rescue operations.
