William Noun has been detained since 12 pm and authorities have been looking out his household’s home for the previous couple of hours.
Initially detained on the State Safety in Furn el Chebek, he has now been relocated to Ramlet el Bayda.
This comes as protests by the households of the Beirut Port blast victims have been escalating the previous couple of days over frustrations of stalemate and tried obstruction of Decide Tarek Bitar’s investigation into the blast.
The arrest and raid are reportedly as a consequence of alleged statements made by William Noun that the Justice Palace would explode in the event that they don’t get justice.
Crowds are at present forming outdoors the State Safety in Ramlet el Bayda in protest of the detention and raid.
William Noun is at present within the presence of his lawyer and MP Melhem Khalaf. His Lawyer instructed MTV that the investigation hasn’t begun but they usually’re demanding his instant launch.
